50 webAR experiences for the IFFR

50 years of the International Film Festival Rotterdam, 50 locations in Rotterdam and 50 (web-based!) Augmented Reality experiences by ArtiShock.

web-based AR is the next step in the development of Augmented Reality. To prove this, ArtiShock was given the opportunity to produce a super cool webAR experience in collaboration with the IFFR, studio VollearsZwart and OrbAmsterdam.

Visitors where able to experience 50 film fragments in webAR on 50 green screens throughout Rotterdam. Easy, because they only had to scan a QR-code and the film fragment starts via your web browser on your smartphone on one of the 50 green screens.

Amazon prime: webAR filmcampaign for The East
We applied Augmented Reality on the poster campaign for the film The East. The webAR shows a trailer of this exciting new Dutch film by director Jim Taihuttu. The film can be seen from May 13 on Amazon's prime video and some selected movie theaters
